A month to change your life!
The Deep Life Changer Healing & Transformation Retreat: Healing Your Hurts, Living Your Essence, Flowing Your Bliss
Immerse yourself in this deeply transformative and nourishing journey into wholeness. Feel yourself releasing old wounds and awakening into new life as the group grounds and connects with the renewing energies of Springtime in the beautiful Murray region. This is your invitation to spend a month in the safety of a supportive healing community, connecting with the energies of nature and guided by your own innate healer, the group’s wisdom and the synchronicity of Spirit.
Why a month? In our retreats we find that as time passes the sense of safety and trust within the group grows deeper and deeper. This foundation of trust and safety is what makes courageous and lasting transformation possible.
We offered a 20 day retreat in 2018 and at the end people wanted to continue the journey, to go even deeper for more profound and lasting change. In 2019 we extended our Deep Changer retreat for an extra week, and it was well worth it! Our weekend retreats are amazing ….. and yet for many people they are just the beginning, and the soul cries out for more!
Two weeks also available. While we encourage everyone to commit to the full four weeks if at all possible, we recognise that for some people this is very difficult. So we have structured the retreat in such a way that people can do just the first two weeks.
Soul Quest. In the final week of the retreat there will be an optional opportunity to have a 24hr, 2-day or 3-day Soul Quest (similar to vision quest, but without cultural appropriation): Camping alone in the lovely redgum bushland, within your own sacred circle, connecting to earth and sky, the elements and the directions, we open ourselves to allowing the emergence of deeper and meaningful aspects of who we are and how we live. There is adequate preparation and lead-up to this experience.
A life-changing experience and a meaningful and special culmination of your month of healing, transformation and journeying.
Finding reconnection. For thousands of years, the medicine men and women of indigenous cultures have understood the physical and spiritual interconnectedness of all things. This retreat follows the Shamanic perspective on healing. It is about restoring balance, right relationship with the earth and with Spirit and retrieving the aspects of Self (or Soul) that become fragmented through trauma. You don’t need any prior experience of shamanic, energetic or earth-based work and this work does not involve use of substances or plant medicines.

Jung inferred that the loss of instinct, the loss of soul…can be restored through reconnection with the sacred aspects of the natural and imaginal worlds.
In our descent to reconnect with our roots in wild nature…we may navigate unknown territory, dark waters, and close, tight spaces. We may even enter in that impenetrable dark night of the soul where all hope seems lost. But Jung urged us to look for the seed in the darkness that will come to fruition and light.
What is broken into pieces can be re-membered and begun anew like the initiate who emerges as a powerful shaman. It is possible, through the process of descent to reconnect with the sacred earth, to restore our souls to their rightful wholeness, both individually and as a culture.
By re-membering our roots in the sacred, by re- establishing right relations with nature and the imaginal, we renew our trust in the power of soul to help us find our way home. – Bonnie Bright

“After attending the Deep Changer retreat, I thought ‘How will I get back to normal’ but I realise my life was not normal and that the retreat opened many new neural pathways, my thinking is different, my sense of being is different, I am different and the changes continue. So the more I feel, the more I experience the more l discover aspects of who I am becoming and all that from the retreat and time to be how ever I needed to be and profound healing being within a group and being held and supported by Phoenix and Mike. I still wonder how did you know what l needed. The unspoken, Everything happened as required. There was no sense of time just being. My mantra continues ” It’s all good” words can’t express the experience as it is such a somatic Healing experience – Elizabeth Kinnane
“As I think back on my time at the ‘Deep Changer’ Retreat, there with 20 other people committed to their own healing and journey, my eyes well with tears. I’ve never felt so alive so often as I did those three weeks.
Sometime in the second week, we were invited to connect into our physical bodies, our senses and environment. Under the Taurus full moon I stripped off my clothes and tied a bandana over my eyes. With a blanket draped through my elbows and Luke an as my spotter, I made my way through the bush to a fire following the distant sound of a drum.
“I felt my feet firmly on the earth. I heard the crunch of branches and bush underneath me. I felt my way, step by step, breathe by breath, drum beat by drum beat. There were times I felt like I couldn’t do it. Like it was taking too long and I couldn’t find my way. There were moments I felt fear rising from within. I felt frustrated, panicked, trusting, connected and so many other emotions.
“It’s hard to put words to the experience and what it meant to me. The final moment when I reached the drum and the fire is indescribable but I’ll do my best. I felt a rush of relief, inner fire and ecstasy. There was peace, joy and passion.
“Later, after I’d spotted Luke on his journey through the bush, I jumped in the Murray river naked and warmed my skin by the fire. I laughed with and hugged dear friends as they each arrived at the fire from their own journeys. I wasn’t worried about the past or planning the future that night. I simply was. Naked under the light of the moon with my bare feet on Mother Earth!
“Do you know what it feels like to feel truly alive?” – Lotus Argyll

‘A real experience! If you are seeking to open your soul and your heart…I am really thankful I put myself in this space for the week which opened up pains I had shut down in my body but also opened up the possibility to let go of them. I felt safe.’ Stephen Cooper
‘I had little knowledge of what was in store for this retreat, but it exceeded anything I could have expected and needed.
