COSY SPRING WRITING RETREAT IN THE FOREST  

                                                                      Creativity Relaxation Fun Writing

Immerse yourself in words and nature! Get more done on your current writing project, begin or finish that novel, article, essay, writing piece or find inspiration for something new. Move through a block or simply hang out in inspiring nature to doodle or reflect with people who love writing, in a lovely place.

Enjoy a riverside bush property in the beautiful mountains, forests and rivers of the Upper Yarra Valley, Vic, only 1.5hrs from Melb CBD, yet a world away from bustle! 

When: 7pm Wed 4th Sept–3pm Sunday 8th Sept 2024

Price: $390 – $550 (amount based on individual means)               

Included in the weekend: own bedroom, all meals, group & individual writing facilitation and exercises, helpful discussions, optional non-judgemental feedback, optional workshopping of material, endless tea & coffee, access to thousands of acres of forest and plenty of time to reflect/write.

Limited to only 5 people! Public transport pick ups available. If needed it is only 5 mins to live music at a rustic pub or 20 mins to great cafes or don’t emerge from the tranquil forest cocoon at all!

 Emerge with refreshed & revitalized creativity, understanding and love for writing & the journey. Sleep in or work all night in your own bedroom, enjoy delicious meals, walk around inspiring nature, soar with the birds or burrow with the wombats and find support in facilitated moments that turn on those creative lightglobes!

Facilitator: 
Phoenix Arrien is a published writer, Somatic Therapist and nature immerser. She has written and edited books, contributed to anthologies, provided web content, blogs, articles and newsletters. 

Phoenix has taught writing short courses at Monash and Victoria Universities and finds plenty of creative inspiration where she lives and works in the wild tall tree rainforest mountains of the Yarra Valley.

Cancellation policy for this workshop: Refundable – less 15% admin/bank fees if cancelled more than 60 days before the workshop or 50% refundable less admin/banking fees less than 60 but more than 30 days before the workshop begins. No refund 30 days before the workshop begins, during or after the workshop.
